Chef Rame, a native of Toronto, is the mastermind and architect behind the culinary delights of the Union Social. “What pushes me is the pursuit of simple excellence”, says Chef Rame. This means he is very hands-on with producers and suppliers to get the best quality and freshest ingredients. It also means Chef Rame makes time each day to butcher his own steaks and seafood. “The best ingredients, diligent preparation, and the right presentation…when that all comes together, I know that our guests will love the outcome”.
Chef Rame is a Red Seal Chef, and prior to the Union Social Eatery, he began by apprenticing at the Regal Constellation Hotel and Glen Abbey Golf Course. He moved on to become the Sous Chef at the Wildfire Grill, head chef of Stoneboats Restaurant in Oakville and then chef of Canyon Creek Chophouse. Chef Rame graduated from Humber College with a Culinary Management Diploma.
